Cambodia Trip Part 3: ATV Ride & Artisan Workshop

We spent our last day in Cambodia touring the Artisan Workshop, who employs disadvantaged men and women and teaches them traditional trades/handicrafts.  Many artists were targeted and killed during the war, so they are trying to bring back some of these traditions, including silk weaving, painting and stone carvings.

The highlight for the kids though was riding through the Cambodian countryside on ATV's!  What an awesome and exciting way to see rural life.  Very profound experience for all of us, seeing the primitive way that some people still live in the 21st century.  I just want to take all of the sweet little kids home with me…

Cambodia will always have a special place in my heart.  You can't help but want to pull for these people who have gone through so much and are still smiling.

Feeling blessed again, as we add another amazing cultural adventure to the books!
