New home @ Orange Grove Residences

Here are some 1st pics of our new home!  We love our condo building, a low rise, with only 6 stories and 60 units in total.  Super small by Singapore standards!  Our place is on the 3rd floor, with the pool below.  The condo itself is spacious, with 4 beds, 3 baths and 3 balconies.  It is a really pretty tree-lined street, adjacent to Orchard Road or the Michigan Ave, 5th Ave, Champs Elysses of other major cities.  Huge shopping district with all of the luxe brands.  No Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx or Target to be seen, which has been startling to this bargain shopper!

Our condo is full of expats, Brits, Aussies, Dutch, South Africans, Chinese, Indian, American, etc.  It's like living at the UN!  Everyone is super nice and there are a lot of young kids, which makes our daily pool time really fun!

Our rental furniture came the first day, so we only had one night in a hotel.  The rental furniture is nothing to be desired, in fact, it's gross, but will have to do until our sea shipment comes in October.  Seriously, it will be like Christmas in October when that container arrives.  Being the "home" person that I am, this ugly furniture is paining me every day!  The marble floors with no rugs have my feet killing me by the end of day and the echo is awful, but no one else here really seems to mind and it is what it is, so I'm surviving :)  Ha!  Theme of the month, surviving!!
